PopSugar Must Have May 2014 Review + $5 Discount Code!

When you've been subscribing to subscription boxes for quite a while, you get a pretty good feel for what's coming from many of the companies.  That is not the case with PopSugar Must Have!  They do a really interesting job of curation and always provide fun, trendy and different products.  They also cover a nice assortment of categories, including beauty, food, fitness, home decor and others.  So the possibilities are endless and chances are you'll be pleasantly surprised.

May's box contained six full size summer oriented products:

One thing I've never received in a subscription box before is a DVD of any kind.  This one is called "One Day Fat Blast" by Tone It Up with Karena and Katrina.  The DVD contains two 30-minute workouts.  My DVD player has an "issue" at the moment but once we work that out, this will be put to good use.

Next is a big soft eye mask by Kerry Cassill in a blue camo print that was designed exclusively for PopSugar Must Have.  I don't use eye masks myself but I know someone who does.

    

There is a 1.7 oz. eau de parfum spray by Smell Bent in "St. Tropez".  The card says this is an "intoxicating blend of jasmine absolute and fresh coconut aromas".  It does have a very nice beachy, summery smell, quite different from any other fragrance I own.  A little of this goes a long way and there is a lot here!

I bet a lot of subscribers will agree that the coolest item in this month's box is the "Citrus Zinger" by Zing. This innovative bottle has a screw-off base.  Press half of a lemon, lime or orange into the base, twist it and fill the top with water.  The fruit keeps your water continuously infused with citrus flavor.  The bottle has a sturdy looped handle so you can clip it on wherever you like.  Really great concept that I can't wait to try!

The beauty item this month is a bottle of nail lacquer by Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, a brand I've never heard of or tried.  This one is in a really pretty shade of aqua, fittingly named "Pool Boy".  (The photo really doesn't do justice to this color.)

  

The last item took up a LOT of space in the box.  It's a full size 7 oz. bag of "Hi I'm Skinny Sticks" in Multi-Grain Sweet Onion.  These are very tasty and with 40% less fat, are a good alternative to regular chips.

So that's the May box...lots of good stuff!  The retail value of this collection is $115, with the highest priced item by far being the Smell Bent perfume at $45.  I'm pleased with what I received and look forward to trying everything.
