The cost of each Soap Box is $19.99. Since it can feel like a LONG time between boxes, you can also get your fix in their on-line store which is stocked with a decadent assortment of bath & body products, as well as household items, cosmetics and gift sets.
The Summer Soap Box arrived in an explosion of candy colored products and scents nestled in a bed of mint green and hot pink packing crinkles. This box included eight single use or mini products and even a piece of candy!
The explanatory card in this box deserves special mention because it is so bright and colorful! Inside is a full list of everything in the box with mouth-watering descriptions of their contents. The back of the card contains a $10 code that can be used towards any purchase in their store, but not towards the Soap Box. (Sorry, I'm keeping this one to myself as I love to order from this company!)
Every seasonal Soap Box contains one of their signature fortune cookie soaps with a fortune inside. This time, it is a beautiful mint green soap called "Lick Your Lips". This one has a cool peppermint scent with flecks of dark chocolate. My fortune says "Be naughty--save Santa the trip". Well, o.k.!
The other product in this photo is a luscious pink lip scrub that smells like bubblegum. Its name is "Blow Me". (Don't blame me, I just work here!)
The next product is "The Sweet Spot" Sparkle Me. This is a very sparkly aqua blue liquid in a pump dispenser. I'm not really sure what this product is used for because the description of it on their site only gives the scent blend (melon, strawberries, peaches, pineapple and mandarin oranges, all sprinkled with sugar). If anyone knows how this is meant to be used, please tell me.
There is also a small bottle of Candy Aisle OCD Hand Sanitizer in "Lollipop Your Cherry". FCS seems to be on a risque naming binge with this season's products for some reason!
Next is a "Sweet Dreamsicle" wax tart with a luscious pineapple, orange citrus and vanilla cream scent. I already want more of this one! The other product is a "Rock Your Socks Off" Solid Sugar Scrub in grape candy flavor. Use this in the shower to exfoliate, moisturize and soften. Another really fun scent!
Another delicious product is "Captain's Berried Booty", a whipped cream body butter which smells almost exactly like Kellogg's Froot Loops cereal...a crunchy, fruity, berry scent with vanilla, raspberry and tonka bean notes. The skincare product in this box is called "Lemon Drop It Like It's Hot" Microdermabrasion Facial Scrub. This has a light lemon peel and orange zest fragrance and is intended for use once or twice a week.
And finally, to complete the theme of this box, we have a Cherry Dum-Dum! I won't tell you how many years it has been since I've had one of these.
That's everything in the Summer Soap Box. I think I used up all the relevant superlatives above; digging through this box was just a really fun experience.
One thing to note about the seasonal Soap Boxes is that the full sizes of most of the products included usually sell out on their site very quickly. Not to worry though....there are dozens of other choices and almost anything from Fortune Cookie Soap is going to rock your world!
